Tom Gildred founded FMT Consultants in 1995 and is currently the Chairman of the Board. In the firm’s early days, it focused on providing accounting and financial management technologies, and was an early implementation partner of Great Plains Software (currently known as Microsoft Dynamics GP). The company has since been authorized as a Microsoft Dynamics GP Gold Partner, completing over 550 successful Dynamics GP implementations.
The scope of FMT Consultants’ services has substantially evolved and now encompasses accounting, Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, collaboration and communication tools and hardware solutions. Information technology products from Dell, Microsoft, NetSuite and SAP are available through FMT Consultants. In addition to handling project-based work, the consultancy also provides ongoing IT training and round-the-clock technical support to clients.
Currently one of Southern California’s largest technology consulting firms, FMT Consultants employs a growing team of over 85 people and is headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, with an additional office in Los Angeles.
